I believe you can love your child to sleep.

Sleepy Miracles offers an alternative philosophy to parents who resist the idea
of leaving their baby alone to cry-it-out.

As we work together to teach your child to sleep, you will always be able to respond to them in a loving and supportive way. My goal is to help your little one become a healthy sleeper, educate you on how to make that happen, and support you every step of the way.

Baby sleep is not just about sleep! I take a more holistic approach to sleep coaching. We will work together to create an individualized, step-by-step sleep plan that will factor in all the important pieces of your baby’s sleep puzzle: parenting philosophy, your child’s emotional needs and temperament, age, nutrition, developmental stage, health and temperament, mother’s well-being, family context including older siblings and the related family dynamics, feedings problems, sleep hygiene and sleep biology, cycles and circadian rhythms.

My gentle philosophy promotes good sleep habits and builds your parent-child bond. My approach to sleep coaching is a gentler alternative for families who emotionally or philosophically resist letting their babies cry-it-out.

Responding sensitively to your child teaches him that he is loved and that he can trust you to be there for him.  Babies cannot be expected to figure things out on their own—to soothe themselves—especially during the early months, and sometimes years.  You are the emotional regulator for your child until her brain growth has caught up and she is developmentally capable of regulating her own feelings. This is the cornerstone of my gentle sleep philosophy.

During the process, my goal is to have as little crying as possible. I encourage parents to be loving and responsive but to allow their child the room to learn this vital life skill of putting themselves to sleep. The parent responds and stays with their little one and offers physical and verbal reassurance without putting their child to sleep. Parents are really needed to be a sort of emotion coach for their children. This supports the development of a secure attachment between parent and child.

I’m here to support you with compassion and encouragement from beginning to end—for night sleep and naps!
